Remember that any use of music in combination with images and/or trademarks is subject - by law - to prior licensing by the rights holders (or their representatives) of the musical works and recordings used.


COMMERCIALS/ADVERTISEMENTS
This type of use is subject to authorization (Synchronization License) issued directly by FM RECORDS.
The cost of a license is determined by criteria related to the type of advertising (type of media, period of use, region of use, etc.).

COMPANY VIDEOS (CORPORATE FILMS)
This type of use is regulated by an innovative agreement with SIAE which provides for the payment of the synchronization license together with the payment of the video-audio reproduction rights. The cost of a Synchronization License is based on the exact number of seconds of music actually synchronized to the film/movie; the cost of the video-audio reproduction rights is based on the number of copies of the media produced. To obtain these licenses quickly, simply contact the nearest SIAE. Fill out and hand in Forms PM and DRV2 to obtain the Synchronization License and the stamps required to be affixed on the media reproduced.
In addition, for wedding videos the SIAE has recently issued a special license for the use of Production Music which provides for the fulfillment of rights through a simple flat rate payment:

TELEVISION BROADCASTS
For RAI and Mediaset network television broadcasts, use is already authorized by general licensing agreements entered into between SIAE and SCF, and the networks. Therefore, no other specific authorization is required by FM Records, with the exception of promotional programming which falls under the category of "commercials/advertisements".
Use on other television networks (both local and satellite) is subject to a permit issued by FM Records in which flat rate agreements are reached in order to use our catalog.

CD-PREMIUM
This is subject to a license to use the recordings combined with a license to use trademarked songs. Both these licenses can be requested through FM RECORDS.

The user must request a license for audio reproductions and affix SIAE stamps on all media (CDs) produced. The conditions set forth by the SIAE with respect to "premium" audio media can be accessed directly on the SIAE website: www.siae.it

The cost of a Synchronization License is determined by the type and use of the website (Home Page, Flash…).
